No carnival.  No parade.  No block party. Some critter has nibbled a few of the plants, and I had complete failure of germination with my spinach seeds.  My best guess is that the cold frame got too warm inside and steamed the spinach sprouts. I just re-assembled a 1951 single-mantle Coleman 220A lantern that my brother Bill had collecting dust in his garage.  First try and she fired up!This lantern is a pretty little gem, with a forest green fountain and a red ventilator. A little more research on drying peppers offered two options.  The first option is to dry them laid out in the sun. So I picked ten or twelve at home and another ten or twelve at Perkins on Sunday night.
